Carmelo is winning points per game average over Durant. In the
last 5 games, Carmelo has scored 50, 40, 41, 36 and 36 AGAIN!. In Durant’s last
5 games he scored 30, 25, 34, 27 and 21. Clearly Carmelo has been better than
Durant these past 5 games. Last game, the Knicks won because of Carmelo, AGAIN. They are almost equal in points per game.  What do you think?  Here are their up-to-date stats:

Carmelo Anthony
New  York  Knicks
 28.6

Kevin  Durant
Oklahoma City  Thunder
28.3

I think that Carmelo is going to win it by a little bit.

My 2013 All-Star Review

2/20/2013

All-Star Weekend comes with some surprises. I wanted Damian Lillard to win the skills challenge but I thought Jrue Holiday was going to win the skills challenge. Who won? When I saw Damian Lillard win the skills challenge, I was like yes! But I think Kyrie Irving stole the whole show. I feel bad for that guy who was defending him. I was really surprised that Kyrie Irving also won the three point contest. To me, he was the star of All Star Weekend 2013.  Can anyone say, Lebron WHO? Watch out Lebron…there are many stars ready to steal your spotlight and they are getting brighter and brighter each day! Watch out for Kyrie Irving, Lebron!

I was also surprised that the West won against the East. The East had the better team. They had a starting lineup of Wade at point guard, Lebron James at shooting guard, Carmelo Anthony at small forward, Garnett at power forward and Chris Bosch at center.  That is a pretty strong lineup. It doesn’t really matter who the West had because no one should have beat the East’s lineup!

Overall, Kyrie Irving was the star of this All-star weekend.

Stat and Melo are back together again

Injury kept them apart but Stat and Melo finally played back together last night. The Knicks lost to the Portland Trailblazers 105 to 100. It was a tough loss. Stat needs to pick up his game. Now, we are on a 2 game losing streak. They need to work together to win. Stat did not have a great game but I think he will have one soon. Melo has been doing his part meanwhile Stat is not doing his part yet.

Other players on the team like Jason Kidd and Tyson Chandler are playing well. Even Kurt Thomas is doing good when he is in the game. JR Smith is over the top with those 2 game winning buzzer beaters!!!!  Melo and Stat just need to find a way to play well together so the Knicks will win.  I know they can do it. Go Knicks!!

Please write something back like your thoughts.

Hope for the Knicks

I think the Knicks preseason showed that there is hope for the Knicks. They did better than I thought they would and won some games.  I really liked watching New York against New York, when the Knicks played the Nets and won in overtime.  I like the Nets and the Knicks so I couldn’t lose this game. My favorite NBA player is Derron Williams, who is now on the Nets.  I liked him when he was on the Utah Jazz.  I also like Carmelo Anthony on the Knicks.  I think they both did a good job in the preseason. I also think that Chris Copeland did very good too.  I think it stinks that Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler got hurt during the preseason. I hope they don’t miss too many regular games because the Knicks need them to win more games.   Both the Knicks and the Nets will play each other in the season opener. It is hard for me to pick who will win but I think that the Knicks will win. I think they have been doing good and can keep on going. Either way, I can’t lose! Go New York and New York!!!

Knicks are #1 in My Book

The New York Knicks are my favorite team.  And they always will be. I just want them also to be the championship team.  I don’t think they will be this year because they need to work together. As an example, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen worked together and Melo and Stat should learn from them. With our new team this year, I think we might be closer than last year but not able to go all the way.  The people on our team are good but they are pretty old and may need more rest than LeBron and some of the other players. What do you think?

Marbury is Right!

Marbury is right! Carmelo and Stat do not make a good team. They are actually making our team worse! We barely made it to the 8 spot last year. We only made it because Lin gave us a boost. Marbury said Stoudemire and Melo do not work together at all. I actually think that Marbury is smart. I think that Marbury has been watching recent Knick games. Well, if he did then he is right.

Pick Your Starting Five

9/9/2012

The Knicks are definitely in trouble with their backcourt this year. We don’t have a starting shooting guard! Shumpert is out. Brewer is out. The Knicks should start looking around. I always thought trading Lin was a bad idea and now I know I was right.

Kidd or Felton at point guard? Good question. I have to think about it. I was thinking JR Smith will be our bench star but we really will need him now as a starting shooting guard. I like Smith coming off the bench though. He was good on the Nuggets and almost won games by himself. But I guess we need Felton to be the starting point guard and then JR Smith as the starting shooting guard, and then Kidd coming off the bench because he is old.

So my starting lineup would be Felton at point guard, JR at shooting guard, Carmelo at small forward, Stat as power forward and Tyson as the center. Who are your starting five players? Please comment.

Oakley is Smart.

Charles Oakley makes some good points. Stat and Melo.  The only thing Stat is good at is dunking, passing and corner shots when he finds his spot. Melo doesn’t give the ball to him at the right spot. When they pass to Melo, you know he is shooting. Stat is passing or shooting or he turns the ball over. Or he gets blocked. Stat and Melo need to get Chandler involved in the game. They just hog it with Melo. Melo is a great player, he is like Bernard King and he always wanted to be like Bernard King. Stat needs to pick up his game and shoot more. He goes down the floor and it gets stolen, or sometimes he dunks it. I like both Stat and Melo and Chandler…and JR Smith. I want the Knicks to win the Championship.
