“Thunderstruck”, the movie starring Kevin Durant, opened in theaters last night. But apparently not in the state of New Jersey. I looked all over to find a theater that was playing it. If you know of any, please let me know in the comments section. Also, if you saw it, let me know what you think. Is KD a good actor? I think the storyline of “Thunderstruck” is about a boy who is terrible at basketball. He goes to a Thunder basketball game and somehow Kevin Durant’s awesome abilities switch to the boy, leaving KD with rotten skills. Then while the boy is having a great time where he plays, Durant and the Thunder are on the edge of making or missing the playoffs. Then, they meet each other to try and find a way to switch back. That is what I think based on the trailer. This movie seems similar to other fun basketball movies like “Space Jam” and “Like Mike” which were both lots of fun to see. What other basketball movies have you seen? What are some of your favorites? I like “Glory Road”, “Pistol Pete”, and “Air Bud”. I love watching basketball movies, so let me know of any movies. Thanks!

I'm hoping it comes out in NJ soon too. "Space Jam" was one of my favorites basketball movies if not the best basketball themed movie involving actual NBA players as actors. I also enjoyed "Pistol Pete", "Glory Road", and a non-basketball related movie but sports themed movie titled "Remember The Titans".

I hope that it comes to more theaters. I would like to see it. Why should Oklahoma have all the fun?? As far as basketball movies, Hoosiers is my all-time favorite!! You should watch it if you haven't seen it already. It is a great movie.

Michael -- There is a movie that came out in the 90s called "Eddie". It stars Whoopi Goldberg and she is a huge Knicks fan and ends up coaching them in the movie. It is pretty good and you may like it. You should check it out.

Apparently they are not showing the movie in the state of New York as well. I have never heard of a movie get advertised but not show in NYC. NYC is the capital of the world! If the capital of the world don't have it, no place should have it.
